Content Creator

We are searching for a driven, detail-oriented content creator to produce high-quality deliverables for our portfolio of clients. This person will use design, photography, videography and audio to create original short form pieces that can be used across websites, social posts, reels, news coverage and other owned and earned media.

 

To be a successful content creator, you should focus on appealing to the interests of each audience's interests through the creation of engaging material. You should also contribute to shaping our clients style and brand, assisting with voice and style, working with the Rein Communications team to ensure alignment with clients strategy and objectives. 

 

Content Creator Responsibilities:

  • Create various forms of social media content—text captions, videos, and images—suitable for the various social media platforms, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

  • Writing, recording, reviewing, editing, and updating content for all platforms

  • Publish posts according to the established social media content calendar 

  • Deep knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategy

  • Ability to work with creative tools like Adobe

  • Proven experience in creating engaging content on different social media platforms—Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and YouTube

  • Ability to turn a concept into compelling content

  • Ability to incorporate brand voice and identity throughout 

  • Extensive knowledge of the popular social media platforms and best practices

  • Assisting the public relations team with design of promotional materials. 

  • Using social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote client initiatives.

  • Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.

  • Monitoring social media and company website metrics.

  • Utilizing SEO and algorithms methods to increase site traffic and social engagement.

  • Suggesting new ways to promote client offerings and to reach customers

Content Creator Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in videography, digital media or multimedia preferred. 

  • Professional content creation experience

  • Experience creating strong, engaging content that has analytics to support the work. 

  • A portfolio of creative work across multiple platforms. 

  • An understanding of SEO best practices.

  • Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing.

  • Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Strong listening and communication capabilities.

  • The capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.

  • The ability to travel regularly without sacrificing deadlines.

Account Manager

Charlotte-based PR agency looking for a DOER- A person who finds satisfaction in creating lists and crossing off every item. Your #1 job is knocking out tasks while simultaneously providing client management, making sure our partners have what they need before they need it. You will also be supporting our specialists with researching, reporting, scheduling and light copywriting/ design. Your biggest strengths should be coordination, communication and completion, with the ability to roll up your sleeves and get the job done no matter what it takes. You must be organized and deadline driven, but also proactive, creative and forward-thinking. The ability to hit the ground running is key. Knowing how to laugh and roll with the punches is also crucial, because you know PR is anything but predictable.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serving as the lead point of contact for our clients for both Rein Communications and Little Bit Publicity. 

  • Ensuring that deliverables are packaged and delivered to clients on time and without error.

  • Serving as a trusted client partner, fostering relationship based communication, curiosity and respect. 

  • Taking verbal direction and turning it into actionable items and assigned roles. 

  • Creation of documents, both client facing and internal. 

  • Development of social media and light writing as needed. 

  • Gathering and proofing of deliverables created by specialists. 

  • Any variety of tasks from vendor outreach to RSVP management and client updates. 

  • Seeking opportunities to enhance our level of client experience and bringing new ideas to the table. 

  • Management of timelines, deadlines,  tracking and reporting. 

  • Acting as a representative of the agency, serving as a spokesperson in the community and events. 

 

Experience:

Proven experience with a variety of B2B and B2C clients from diverse industries, including:

  • Management of numerous  accounts and projects concurrently.

  • Establishing mutually beneficial relationships with clients and their staff. 

  • Previous development of processes and procedures, creation of timelines and onboarding of clients. 


 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Public Relations, Communications or Journalism.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years working in a PR agency POST graduation. 

  • Proven track record of working with national, well-known brands as well as small. businesses. Must have the ability to share examples that produced intended results. 

  • Ability to do a combination of remote and in-person work with some travel.

Media Relations Specialist

Rein Communications is seeking a talented and strategic Media Relations Specialist to join our amazing team! The media relations specialist helps execute media strategies and tactics with a primary focus on earned global, national and local media that will amplify our client's brand, services, differentiation and thought leadership. You will also be responsible for seeking opportunities in order to grow the visibility of our agency and leadership and are responsible for identifying, pursuing and coordinating media opportunities that will establish the client as a credible business and authority in their industry, strengthening their influence. 

Responsibilities:​

  • Identify proactive media opportunities and conduct media outreach to generate high-quality, prominent media coverage that will advance visibility

  • Research outlets, journalists, editorial calendars in order to provide timely and relevant ideas to the media

  • Monitor the news cycle and identify timely opportunities for our clients/agency

  • Draft media materials such as tailored pitching, press releases, media advisories, messaging talking points and other content

  • Manage and coordinate media responses; draft interview prep materials and talking points; assist with media training as needed

  • Provide media relations counsel as necessary or requested; develop guidance and other materials as needed

  • Acting as a representative of the agency, serving as a spokesperson in the community and events. 

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, media, public relations, communications or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • At least 3 years of directly related professional experience

  • Outstanding written communication skills, with mastery of AP Style

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and cross-departmentally.

  • Strong understanding of U.S. media and competency engaging media professionals, with proven track record of placements or working within top news media.

  • Proven experience providing effective media relations counsel or coverage in crisis situations.

  • Ability to apply emotional intelligence to communicate effectively, empathize, and identify solutions.

  • Willingness to engage in crucial conversations to create mutual purpose.
